Gay lifestyle unacceptable to God
Regarding the July 21 letter from Adam Martinez:
Those participating in the gay pride parade were forcing their lifestyle on us.
I happened to be on Main Street that day shopping with my daughter and having a great mom/daughter day until …
How can we leave them alone? Every time the rest of society turns around, this lifestyle is crammed down our throats.
The lifestyle will always be unacceptable to God.
1 Corinthians 6: 9-10 (New American Standard):
• “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals … will inherit the kingdom of God.”
There is a reason God made woman for man.
Genesis 2: 22, 24:
• “The Lord God fashioned into a woman the rib which he had taken from the man and brought her to the man.”
• …and they shall become one flesh.”
Genesis 4: 1-2 states man caused woman to conceive children.
Has this lifestyle mastered this beautiful gift from God?
God did not make certain people to be homosexual; this is a choice.
I Timothy 1:9-11:
• “… the law is not made for the righteous person, but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, the unholy and profane … and immoral men and homosexuals … contrary to the gospel of God.”
I enjoy my relationship with my husband and family, a beautiful gift from God. However, we haven’t caused a public display of our lifestyle and expected front-page news.
Leave them alone? Then please stop these parades, protests and displays.
Let them leave the rest of us alone. OK?
