ALBUQUERQUE — A Clovis man on supervised release for a number of crimes but disappeared last week has been caught.
Albuquerque police said detectives from the gang unit arrested Marco Rivera on Monday after receiving a tip that he was hiding with a friend in the Albuquerque area.
New Mexico State Police said last week the 20-year-old Rivera failed to show up to a scheduled appearance at the Ace Leadership Charter High School and was wanted for violating the conditions of his release.
Rivera was the subject on a statewide manhunt following his disappearance.
He had been convicted on a number of charges, including aggravated burglary, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment, vehicle theft and receiving stolen property.
It was unclear if he had an attorney.
