Wednesday morning briefing: Calling all tubes, blood needed and a major award

Good morning and welcome to the Freedom New Mexico Wednesday briefing.

Calling all tubes

The Zenith Youth Leadership Academy program is under way in Clovis and

Portales and is gearing up for their first team building exercise which

requires massive amounts of cardboard tubes.

If you have tubes —toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls and gift

wrap rolls — you can contribute.

Deliver to United Way office at 12th and Thornton in Clovis or to the Portales Recreation Center at 18th and Avenue I.

Give blood

There’s a blood drive 10 a.m. today at the Clovis-Carver Public Library.
