Christmas Light Parade
It’ll be a Charlie Brown Christmas in Clovis this year.
That’s the theme for the annual Christmas Light Parade on Dec. 3.
Registration forms are now available at the Clovis Curry Chamber of Commerce.

Eastern New Mexico University in Portales will host an acappella concert by New York Polyphony at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in Buchanan Hall of the Music Building.
The event is free and open to the public.

On this day in 1928, Arnold Rothstein, New York’s most notorious gambler, is shot and killed during a poker game at the Park Central Hotel in Manhattan.
Reportedly, Rothstein had nothing good in his final hand.
