Tuesday morning briefing: A recital, meet the lawmakers and some old time music

Recital set

Eastern New Mexico University will host the junior recital of Franklin Piland at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Buchanan Hall of the Music Building in Portales.

The Eastern Plains Regional Legislative Forum is 10 a.m. until noon Wednesday at the Clovis-Carver Library North Annex.

Old time music

The Friends of Bluegrass Club meets every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Farwell Civic Center to play and listen to Bluegrass and Old Time Music played with acoustical instruments.
