Holiday dinner tips featured on program

Information on making a festive holiday turkey dinner, using new tools for crochet, and a program called Fuel Up to Play 60 will be the featured topics on “Creative Living” 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday and noon on Thursday. (All times are Mountain.)

Home economist and spokesperson, Connie Moyers represents Western Research Kitchens in Los Angeles, CA., and she’s going to demonstrate making a festive holiday turkey dinner, complete with stuffing, vegetables and desserts.

Crafter, Maria Nerius will show some of the new tools in crochet, as well as samples of yarns on the market. One tool makes crochet more like knitting, and another is a looped needle that allows you to make two socks at the same time. She is with and lives in Palm Bay, Fla.

Sara Robbins is the director of Dairy Confidence with DairyMax, and she’s going to tell about a new program called Fuel Up to Play 60, which is an in-school nutrition and physical activity program in conjunction with the National Football League and the USDA. Robbins is from Albuquerque.
