There will be no write-in candidates for the March 6 municipal elections, according to Clovis City Clerk LeighAnn Melancon.
Tuesday was the only day to sign up to be a write-in candidate. Write-ins would not have appeared on the ballot, but would have received credit for any votes cast in their favor.
The ballot includes the mayor’s race, four Clovis City Commission district races and a ballot question to ban dual service on the city and Curry County commissions.
