Dist. 42 state Sen. Gay Kernan, R-Hobbs, will be discussing education reform and the state Legislature at 6 p.m. Saturday on KENW-TV, Channel 3 public television’s “Report from Santa Fe” series.
Kernan will offer insights on social promotion, the state’s new A-F grading system and a plan to evaluate teachers as well as students. Her district includes Chaves, Curry, Eddy, Lea and Roosevelt counties.
