Two arrested in pizza delivery robbery

Two suspects were arrested for the armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver on Sunday, Clovis police said in a news release.

According to the release:

A female pizza delivery driver said she believed the male who approached her vehicle during a stop Sunday was holding a gun. He demanded she get out of the vehicle before stealing it and all of her belongings.

Police located the vehicle 30 minutes later, where they found a juvenile male matching the description of the robbery suspect. They also spoke to an adult female identified as Jennifer Acuna, 31, of Lamesa, Texas.

The male juvenile was arrested and charged with robbery. He was placed in the Curry County Juvenile Detention Center.

Acuna was charged with felony robbery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. She remains in the Curry County jail in lieu of a $10,000 cash bond.
