• Last meeting: WT slipped past the Greyhounds 76-73 on Jan. 31 at Greyhound Arena.
• Last time out: ENMU lost at Tarleton State 65-55 while WT lost at home to Texas A&M-Commerce 73-69 in games last Saturday.
• Of note: WT is 64-18 all-time against ENMU, but the Hounds had won three in a row prior to the January loss, including two in Canyon. … Four players average in double figures for the Buffaloes, led by 5-foot-11 freshman G David Chavlovich (16.3 ppg). He’s tied for second in the LSC in scoring with ENMU junior G John Gilliam, each with 424 points in 27 games. … Senior Antjuan Ball, listed as a guard at 6-3, has 13 double-doubles in two years at WT, including 13 points and 11 rebounds in the earlier meeting in Portales. He’s averaging 12.1 ppg and 7.7 rpg this season. … WT, locked into the No. 5 seed, will face either Commerce (21-6, 9-4) or Midwestern State (20-7, 9-4) in the first round of next week’s LSC tournament at Allen, Texas. • Last time out: The Zias lost at Tarleton State 77-68 while the Lady Buffs beat Texas A&M-Commerce 88-73 at Canyon in games last Saturday.
• Of note: WT, ranked fourth in NCAA Division II, is on a 14-game winning streak, tied for seventh-longest in school history. … The Lady Buffs will honor four fifth-year seniors before the game. They’re a combined 111-38 at WT. … The Lady Buffs face eighth-seeded Angelo State in the first round of the LSC tourney on Wednesday. The Zias, seeded seventh, will play either Midwestern State or Cameron, who meet today to determine the No. 2 seed. … WT is 12-1 at home, the only loss coming to Texas-Permian Basin (77-73) in the season opener.
