Department of Health Investigates E. coli Cases Linked to National Outbreak

(Santa Fe) – The New Mexico Department of Health is investigating three cases of bacterial gastro-intestinal illness caused by E.coli bacteria in young children from Curry County. The cases are linked to a multi-state outbreak of E. coli related to ground beef. The children became sick between July 2 and July 21. They are recovering.
